One for Each? Yep!

1 for Every single? Yep!

So really distinct in their approach — Mercury asks to confirm this toy is for him. Tag clearly tells me &quotMINE!&quot

Thanks Colorado Bulldogs for helping Mercury out of his grumpy mood. (He had to go see the eye specialist, and didn’t want to forgive his mother until she told him he could open his secret valentine box.)

Thanks Colorado Bulldogs for the Secret Valentines gifts.

I only bought Joe a box of Large League Chew (in grape, of course) and the unabridged audio version of &quotHow to Survive a Robot Uprising&quot. I employed the amazing robot valentine’s from Blissfullybitter.com. I think he really liked those. My favorite 1 is the robot that says &quottogether for an unspecified amount of time&quot .

VALENTINE SACKBOY – 27
valentine gift for him

A custom Sackboy (from the Playstation3 game Little Big Planet) that was handmade by the super-awesome &quotbunnyslippers&quot on www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20354103, which I commissioned as a valentine’s present for my partner Jason.

I presented him in a See’s Candies heart-shaped box of valentine’s chocolates, with most of the chocolates removed and a bunch of empty wrappers to make it look like Sackboy had already eaten his fill.

Who Needs A Single’s Survival Guide For Valentine’s Day?

I’m convinced that part of the reason people feel sorry for themselves when they’re single on Valentine’s day is because a few weeks before February 14th, every year, websites, magazines, and television shows all start releasing survival guides for singles, making you wonder how you’re going to survive.

You’re going to survive being single on Valentine’s day the same way you survived Christmas when you were single. Remember that one year that you had to drink green beer on St. Patrick’s Day without a significant other sitting next to you? That worked out fine as well, didn’t it?

Ok, so there was a little bit of sarcasm thrown in the mix there, but you get the point. Yes, Valentine’s day is more focused on love than other holiday’s but that doesn’t mean you have to share your love with only a lover.

Please don’t fall into the trap of the stereotypical single who stays home alone, crying with a tub of ice cream, watching Pretty Woman over and over.

Embrace your singleness and celebrate this Valentine’s day with pride!

Now that we got the pep talk out of the way and you’re ready to roll, here’s just a few things you could do to make the night fun and forget about what you used to worry about as a single on Valentine’s day:

Platonic Valentine
Remember when you use to pass out those little paper Valentine cards in elementary school to all your friends? Grab a box and send them out to your friends and family. I for one, would get a great kick out of receiving one from somebody special in my life.

Charitable Love
There are a lot of people in the world who could use your love and compassion for a day. Why not make that day Valentine’s? Volunteer at a local charity or simply do something kind for someone who is in need. Trust me, it doesn’t matter if you’re single, this will make you feel warm and fuzzy.

Movie/Game Night
You might have heard this as an option before, and if so, that’s because it’s a great idea. Get together and share love and companionship with your friends. Watch movies, play games, have a few drinks, gossip.

Whatever you choose to do, do it 100% and celebrate being single on Valentine’s day.

Are You Single? How To Enjoy Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s day can be a nightmare for singles who have to watch the whole world celebrate love in front of their eyes while they reminisce on what could of been. But, what if you looked at valentine’s day in a whole new light?

What if you could even consider yourself lucky to be single on Valentine’s day? You can watch whatever movie YOU want to see, right? You can hang out and do whatever you want tonight without answering to anyone, right?

Valentine’s day can be about the big picture and not just loving your significant other. What about your family, friends, pets, and your favorite charity organization?

What about YOU?

Do yourself a favor and take care of yourself by not letting a holiday get you down.If you want nothing more than to get back off the market, then get out there and have some fun, cause guess what? That’s where the other singles are on Valentine’s day!

Maybe you’re not the party type though and don’t want to whoop it up at the club on singles night. Well, good for you for be true to yourself!

Why not treat yourself to something new? Join a yoga class, try pole dancing (for the exercise, of course!), head to the casino for a game of poker.

Or you could simply indulge. The girls who are in relationships aren’t the only ones who can be pampered. Hit the spa!

If none of that is possible, at the very least, invite some friends over and gossip over a few drinks or watch some chick flicks or man-bashing movies!

You could choose one or two of the above and feel a lot better. In fact, you’d likely forget anything that was bothering you about the day because you’d be having so much fun.

Valentine’s day is about sharing your love and affection with others. There’s no hard and fast rule. Celebrate it your way and enjoy yourself!
